Marcel and Gray do a great job of teaching 301. Gray is one of the best professors I've had--very relatable and describes things clear as day. With him, try to think with him and put enough time to do his assignments, and you'll succeed.

For Marcel, you really need to be thinking 100% on the same page as him. Make sure that you present things exactly how he asks for them, and write in his words. The first impression you make on him with participation and the first memo make a difference, but don't be worried if these aren't perfect. Every time you hand something in, make sure it's written how Marcel would think through it.

Marcel and Wixom were interesting teachers. All the blocks are pretty much the same when it comes to S+S. So I'd go for them bc they make it at least semi-interesting.
