I personally liked 390 more than 380 (less strict grading on the lab reports) and final seemed easier than the 380 final... lots of MATLAB coding and less wet-lab stuff

Hard to get good grades on lab report, there are always things to lose points on, and the average of the class is around B-.

Much better than 380, and Dr. Allen's gotten better at lecturing--he's not a bad guy if you talk to him in person. As the previous reviewer said, results are more reliable, although this means that the average is higher, so you can't afford to screw up on a report like you could in 380.

Less time-consuming than 380, with less focus on cellular labs. (Which consequently means most of the labs are more reliable, results-wise.)
