Sarah was an awesome TA! Coppock is an awesome lecturer and I really enjoyed his class. It is applicable to many aspects of everyday life and I highly recommend the class!

Coppock is a good lecturer, he is funny and knows his stuff well. The class was pretty much a joke until the final, which was incredibly hard. I did very well on the first two tests and did terrible on the final, so don't be fooled, the final is not like the first two tests. Still a pretty good class overall, but not an easy grade
Coppock is very very solid. He knows how to lecture to a 500 student audience and just brings lots of humor/charm/energy to the class. The material in ECON 202 in general just seems more intuitive than microecon and it is very useful no matter what your field of study. If you're a politics/gov major don't leave UVA without taking this class.
So even though there's Dutch KO, make sure you do well the entire semester. I ended up with an A in the class but on the basis of the final alone I would have gotten a B. Dutch KO sounds like a sweet deal but you really have to know everything inside out if you want it to save you. In this sense, doing well on the first two tests is crucial.
When I took econ201 (NOT Elzinga's), the class was taught so bad that I almost hated economics. But Coppock made me love the subject. Taking econ201 with Elzinga and 202 with Coppock would be THE best idea.
Coppock is adorable, and his lectures are entertaining. You have to show up to get clicker points, but discussions are optional.
midterms, clicker points, TA points,,,, first 200 points do not matter much unless you get A on the final. Even if you get 100% before the final and B+ on the final, you won't get A (grades are based on curve not percentage). However, if someone gets A on the final and 0 out of first 200 points, he/she will get a better grade than you. It seems little bit unfair, but that is how it works. So, just study for the FINAL.
Mreh. Coppock is NOT the shit. He's alright. The Final raped me. NOTE if you are thinking about an Econ major this the last "Easy" class that is not math intensive. ECON 301 will be the true test if you are destined to be an econ major. Good Luck. May the force be with you
Think class is taught by an incapable professor, avoid at all costs.
The lectures are interesting and material is applicable to the real world. A very enjoyable class, and important to attend lectures. However, the tests are definitely hard and can be slightly unfair.
Professor Coppock is a fair and excellent professor. Make sure to attend EVERY class and take EXCELLENT notes since his tests come from what he says in lecture. Also, be sure to memorize all of the random statistics that he mentions, as they come up on the tests.
