Review Summary Updated April 05, 2026

This instructor is widely praised for being highly supportive, offering frequent office hours and genuinely wanting every student to succeed. Classes pair short lectures with collaborative in-class worksheets, but you will need a solid pre-calculus and Calc I foundation to keep up with the pace. Expect a noticeable accent and occasional mistakes during live examples, though she corrects them quickly and remains highly approachable. To do well, prioritize mastering the worksheets over the online assignments, use office hours regularly, and prepare for strictly graded exams that typically receive a generous end-of-semester curve.

Enjoyed the content, but would definitely recommend taking the course with another professor. Abramenko frequently made mistakes in her math, and that was pretty distracting. The test averages were usually about in the high 70s, but it seems as though there was a somewhat sizable curve at the end of the semester. Quizzes were very easy and a grade booster.
