Instructor permission

Working with and critiquing ideas about ethnography and performativity, students explore epistemological, ethical, and aesthetic issues as they relate to field research, and push the envelope of 'creative non-fiction' in the ethnographic realm through writing. A final essay as well as a final performance presentation are required.
