Virginia Dance Company

Club Description

The Virginia Dance Company is a student-run organization that allows incoming dancers to maintain and expand their dancing skills. Known around grounds as “DCO,” the company rehearses throughout the academic year and performs every semester. Pieces are student-choreographed and span a variety of dance styles, including but not limited to contemporary, lyrical, jazz, and hip-hop. The company is now home to over 50 talented members. Auditions are held one week after the semester begins in both the fall and the spring. Once you are a member of the company you stay a member for the rest of your time at the University!
