Black Muslims at UVA

Club Description

The purpose of this organization is to provide a space for Black Muslims at UVA to actively learn about Islam whilst understanding and focusing on the intersection that is race. Black Muslims at UVA also will promote the growth of its members by providing a safe space that not only recognizes their intersectional identity but also respects that identity. Black Muslims at UVA will work to increase the visibility of Black Muslims at UVA in black spaces, muslims spaces, and the wider UVA space.
