Black Student Alliance
Identity & CultureClub Description
The purpose of the Black Student Alliance (BSA) is to articulate the problems and voice the concerns of Black students at the University of Virginia, conduct political action against unjust policies or programs mandated by the University, and serve as a liaison between Black students (Undergraduate and Graduate), faculty, alumni and the administration. In addition, BSA aims to establish communication within the Black community and achieve the common goals of Black students at UVa and the Black community in Charlottesville. To achieve these goals, the Black Student Alliance hosts numerous events throughout the year in order to unify the Black community.
