Club Description

Patent Law SLAPs is open to all law, LL.M., medical, graduate and undergraduate students interested in patent law. Its purposes are to: (1) bring together students interested in patent law to discuss emerging problems and topics in patent law and be instructed by experts in the field (both academic and practicing attorneys), (2) provide a platform to help students learn about the different areas within patent law, (3) connect students with UVA alumni working in patent law, (4) inform students of open patent law positions at firms, and (5) collaborate with other CIOs to host events related to IP and patent law.
