Hoos Against Hunger

Club Description

Hoos Against Hunger is dedicated to creating an accessible community where UVA students can engage with organizations in Charlottesville that are dedicated to fighting hunger on a local, regional, and national scale. We are a student hub for volunteer opportunities so students have the choice and the freedom to engage with community partners. We will meet on and off grounds to encourage conversations between UVA students and volunteers from the greater Charlottesville area about how they can work together to fight food insecurity. We will foster an environment of accountability, transparency, and accessibility for all volunteers.
