Took the French Creole Languages topic of this class and it was probably one of the most difficult electives I have ever taken. Professor was pretty strict on assignments and asked specific questions during class + got annoyed when people did not know the answer. If you even dare to come to class unprepared he will be offended and give you a look.

I really loved this class!! As a cog sci major I took it as one of my core classes and had a great time with it. Professor Wendte is a very passionate and understanding professor, and the general content of the class is very interesting. Sometimes the readings were a lot for class, but as long as you got the general idea and read enough for the critical summary assignments you would be all good for the class. The class has a good balance of lecture to discussion, and the final project at the end of the class is very free range and a great way to test your knowledge at the end of the course. Overall a really cool class and not hard to get an A in!
