Abramenko spends a lot of time on the basics, which is good. He did have to rush near the end a lot as a result though. It's important to study a lot for the exams; they will be very hard if you're under-prepared. For the midterms, I recommend memorizing Cramer's rule for inverting 3x3 matrices. Know JCF!!!!
