I really enjoyed this class. Professor McGrady was great and very passionate. Most of the class revolved around discussion, so reading the preassigned material was crucial. Some of the material could be long, but it is what it is. Professor McGrady really wants participation and participation is part of your final grade, so you have to talk. She definitely pays more attention to the students that actually try. She has a lot of guest speakers come, and most of them are pretty interesting. The only thing I wish she did more was more detailed instructions on assignments and more detailed feedback. Overall, the more effort you put in to the class, the more successful you will be.
