This class was a bit of a joke with COVID. Exams were open note and the textbook was really helpful for answering questions. His lectures are not as relevant to the exam as the chapters in the book are. Lab can be tricky sometimes with case studies, but overall it isn't bad. His lectures are recorded on powerpoint, so you can't speed up the lectures.

I took this class during an online semester so my experience may be different than if this class were taught by Prof. Mcleod during a regular school year. Honestly, I thought this class was pretty chill. There were 1-2 recorded lectures per week and textbook reading was optional. Lab usually went by really quickly, but I can imagine it would have been much longer in-person. I didn't have much interaction with Prof. Mcleod because the lectures were recorded, but I went to office hours a few times and he was very nice and engaging. He does not curve the class at all, so that would be my only caution when taking this class.
