This engagement course is called Sounds of Resistance. The reason I rated it low is because I didn't find it very interesting, as I'm not very into analyzing music, which is what this course is all about. The instructor was knowledgeable and assigned a reasonable amount of work. The two main assignments of the course were a playlist of 10 songs with 10 analysis paragraphs and then the final was a podcast which you could choose to do with a partner. The first class of each week would be a lecture and the second would be group work. It wasn't too difficult, with minimal reading outside of class. The two main assignments did both take a large amount of time, though. I would recommend this class if you are interested in music/music theory, but if you aren't, it isn't the end of the world, as it's a manageable class that knocks out an engagement requirement. #tCFfall22
