The material that is covered in this course is difficult, but intriguing. The concepts are very abstract and can often be hard to follow. If you're interested in reading long, complex, cryptic philosophical documents, this is the course for you. However, Alex Wolfson is enthusiastic about all of this although sometimes his explanations of the text is hard to understand.
The work for this class is just reading the documents and writing a 1-page double-spaced response (once a week). In the end, you'll do a group project about a taboo topic of your choosing. The grading isn't harsh, but I don't think it's worth it if you don't enjoy the readings. #tCF2020
