This feminism class was super interesting and one of the easier engagements I had. There was quite a bit of reading as well as class preparation involved before each class, so I read maybe 20-30% of assigned coursework and still ended up with an A. Dr. Calamita is so enthusiastic and passionate about the subject which helps enlighten the classroom environment. For my semester, she was stuck in Italy, so our class was held on zoom every week. I was expecting to talk more about feminism on a more political spectrum rather than just women's relationship to food and eating disorders, but overall, easy A class. #tCFspring2022

The course does have a good bit of reading/movies to watch outside of class, graded class participation, a final project, and weekly diary entries (but they are graded on completion). It was an easy A if you simply do the work. I do feel like I got a lot out of the course as well. If you like discussions on feminism, you will like this course.
