This course is a lot harder than it may seem at face value. The topic itself is interesting, but that is drowned out by the course load and the professor. There is a fair amount of reading due each week. There are weekly journal prompts that only require about a paragraph-long response, so that wasn't difficult. Otherwise, there are two big blog posts and an analytical essay due that were very hard to do well on, and you're given practically no guidance. I am usually one to do well on essays, but on these assignments I couldn't get above a B. They count for a large portion of your grade. You're expected to speak in class for participation points, but even me speaking multiple times every class wasn't enough to get me a perfect score. The professor is discouraging and selective about who she reaffirms after something is said.

The professor was nice for the most part but was very unorganized and unresponsive. Not sure if she didn't know how to navigate virtual learning but the same I experienced I heard previous students say as well. #tCF2020. #tCF2020. #tCF2020
