This is a great class! I highly recommend taking this class for an ASL minor if you can. You'll have to take a class with CK eventually, and the course is engaging and very managable. There are readings for every class, but they are usually interesting and don't feel like much work. There were 2 non-cumulative exams that were easy to pass if you read the material and attended class, and one cumulative exam at the end formatted similarly. There were two main writing assignments, one four page and one five page essay, both on topics of your choice, and due to the broadness of the class, there are plenty of topics to choose from, so it is easy to find something you'll want to write on. CK is generally a fair grader (not an easy one), but if you understand the assignments it is possible to get an A in the course as long as you're willing to put in a bit more work.
Overall, a great class you can aim for an A in that can easily fit into your schedule and not overwhelm you.
