Relatable teacher who empathized with his students and spoke to them candidly. Always engaged with his students in down to earth ways and was one of the most engaging lecturers I had the pleasure of listening to. A lot of the time, we got off topic in class conversations, simply because he had so much to share!

Readings were about as hard as readings usually are, but his lectures and TA discussions made everything crystal clear (shout out Yingyu! One of the best in the game!! A TA who actually wants to support the students in his section).
