I took Border Media with Professor Fojas. This class was only a once a week seminar, and she shortened the length from 3 hours 1h30m, which was great, but it was a decent amount of work. She definitely assigns a good amount of work (reading articles/essays and watching weekly films), with weekly discussion posts and comments, 2 projects, a thesis and abstract, and a final research paper (8-10 pgs). There is a LOT of reading assigned, but you do not have to do anywhere near it all to do well in the class, as long as you read enough to be able to write a discussion post and participate somewhat during class, since it's totally discussion-based. The lectures are also pretty fast-paced. I wouldn't say this is an easy A class by any means as Professor Fojas has high standards for our work, but it is definitely possible to get an A if you put in effort on the projects and essay! Professor Fojas is also super nice and helpful and is very knowledgable about the subject.
