Dr. Kutaka is a very nice lady, but unless you want to tank your GPA and redo assignments, I highly suggest not to take this class. In the syllabus there are four major assignments, and in order to pass any of them you have to, "exceed her expectations," which is pretty arbitrary. I'm someone who usually does well with writing based classes, but even this class was very difficult for me. She does allow you to redo assignments but even after redoing them with her added suggestions, I still failed her major assignments. Overall, she's a nice professor and definitely very knowledgeable in her field but this class was even more difficult than my core STEM classes. I don't recommend this class unless you want to have it take up lots of your time and effort of redoing assignments just to not even get a passing grade.
