I really enjoyed this class! Pretty straightforward; readings before each class (which weren't bad at all), discussion-based class, a weekly discussion post, and a midterm and final (although our final was canceled due to snow). I really enjoyed Professor Parker—he's super nice and I enjoyed his style of allowing our questions/thoughts to direct the discussion. I feel like I learned a lot and recommend for anyone interested in the history/theology surrounding the black church!
