Incredibly easy class. Professor is very nice if somewhat hard to understand sometimes but is helpful when asked about specific struggles. In class assignments and homework are super easy, take almost no time and there are no exams/projects.

If you need this as a pre-req for the DS school, TAKE THIS CLASS. It is honestly so easy with no exams and only weekly course work. Professor Xie is so cute and willing to help, but she has an accent that makes it hard to understand her sometimes. You won't really learn how to code unless you go to class and office hours consistently. But if you just want an A, take this class. It is so much easier than other sections so do yourself a favor and enroll with Professor Xie.
