This is a really fun engaging course. I had Gillet and Justin and they were very funny down to earth and most of the class was spent in discussion of hot topics. Grading consists of submitting a very short 200-300 word description of a source every week before class that is relevant to the materials for that week. We have one short midterm consisting of two essay questions which are more to see what we know rather than criticise us for what we didn't. Graded nicely. Finally, we had a research project which you can really take in any direction that you want about the part of the course that interested you. Professors are really amazing and considerate. If you like an easy class and want to learn shocking but extremely interesting things about Charlottesville this class is for you!
