The first half of this class was pretty difficult content-wise, especially for many Batten students who haven't taken many econ/math classes. Professor Simon is incredibly smart, but sometimes the way he described the material was very math heavy. However, he consistently asked for feedback and talked with Batten staff and his TAs to improve the course. By the time the second midterm came around, I think the majority of the class felt much better about the class. The content gets easier to understand as the course progresses and the work out of class is minimal. This will be a great class next semester.
