I took this class fall 2025 (for some reason it wont let me select that). I am not exaggerating when I say this is the easiest 3 credits ever. If you don't use AI professor Platts gurantees a B, and if you put in effort he gurantees an A. Platts HATES AI, and yet he talks a lot about it. Truly, he brings it up every class, I would just zone out during those couple minutes tbh. The tests are super easy, he literally tells you the test question verbatim beforehand, and you are allowed to bring in a notecard. I wouldn't even bother buying the textbook, you do not need it. I read it twice and found out it was useless. There are 3 big projects, don't leave them until the last minute, they are super easy if you use your time wisely. Attendance to lecture or discussion is not required, but lectures are not recorded so I would recommend going. A lot of the time I would just pay half attention to the lecture, take some occassional notes, and also work on something for another class. The course material is definitely interesting, but it really depends on if you want to learn or are just there for the free credits, either way its hard to get a bad grade.
