If you need an easy A class, this is the one to take. Content isn't super riveting, but Professor Platts quite literally gives you all the resources and information to do well in the class. He'll go on tangents about hating AI almost every class, so if you're someone who uses AI for assignments, just don't. You can do extremely well without it anyways, regardless of your writing abilities. 3 tests (you get an index card and a very in depth review session before each test), 3 projects (essays, longest being 4-7 pages), and some in class assignments (basically free points if you just show up, do it, and demonstrate some comprehension of the content). For us, he didn't set due dates for the projects until later in the semester, so those can definitely creep up on you. Get them done early and you'll be fine. No final! Also, you don't need to buy the textbook unless you actually have an interest in reading it. All test content comes from his lectures.
