Syed is an extremely talented lecturer and just a genuine, kind person. He answers questions with grace and explains difficult topics with clarity. The class has a lot of reading, but it’s very interesting for both Muslim and nonmuslim students. Your grade only consists of four in class writing assignments (one of which can be dropped) and a final project. The writings are graded generously (Amir is more lenient than Siwaju), and the final is straightforward and student led. Totally recommend this course!
