The class is difficult, but Professor Han is an amazing instructor. She prefaced the beginning of the semester by letting us know that the difficulty curve would be sharp, and she did a great job of preparing us for it. The course load is large, but that is to be expected with any class involving learning a new language (especially when the alphabet does not match the one you know well.) Don't underestimate the assignments, and always practice a little bit everyday in the four major areas (reading, writing, speaking, listening.) If you are coming from 1020, prepare for a jump in difficulty from the get-go.

This class is the reason I might have to drop out of UVA.
Do not take Intermediate Korean if you have the choice.
