I took this class as a third year in the College as a prerequisite for my Master's in Nursing. There were a few other students who were also in the College, but the course is mostly first years in the Nursing school. With my experience as a pre-med and taking difficult biology, chem, physics, and orgo courses, this class was a joke. If you have taken AP Psych, you pretty much know all the information taught in this course. Attendance is required and you will have a daily in class activity to prove you showed up. Halfway through the semester I stopped showing up and was totally fine. There are four exams throughout the semester and no final. The exams this semester were online and take home using a lockdown browser platform. Weeks where there were exams or fall/thanksgiving break all lectures were canceled. The only grades for the course are the in class activities, four lecture exams, and two asynchronous short essay assignments. Overall, very easy course giving the basics of psychology and development throughout the lifetime.
