Psychology of Black women is one of the best classes I've taken at UVA! There are no tests and every week you just have a writing response on a few questions about the readings. I would say the readings can be pretty long (maybe 50 pages some weeks, but other weeks much less), but because this class was only once a week you have plenty of time. The professor is so nice and cool, and really accommodates for student needs, especially during COVID-19, she made the class really stress-free. The only other assignment is a 5 page paper on a book of your choosing. You can get an A pretty easily as long as you put effort into the writing responses and paper. Also, every class we watched a movie or documentary for at least an hour or more! The class is super laid back, and actually fun! 10/10 recommend.
