Honestly, the other two reviews put it perfectly. This class is ridiculously easy. I recommend going to the first two weeks of lecture, seriously considering whether your time is spent better elsewhere, and then returning the last week of class to watch the movie. You learn whatever you need to in discussion section. Also, some TAs give their students the exam questions beforehand, and sometimes professor Schaeffer does on his own. Sometimes they give the questions and the answers to the test together.
I will say, go to lecture if you're bored, because he says some funny stuff if you listen.

easiest class i've ever taken in my life. idk if it gets easier than this tbh. my TA legit gave us the exam prompts before each exam and I never went to lecture. u have to go to discussion but I ended with an 101%, missed two classes, and got a 17/20 on the first exam, so u got it!

This class is so boring don't go to lecture. Dr. Schaeffer is super nice but not a very effective teacher and his class is just reading a book (the guide) chapter by chapter (10 total) every week. Discussion is mid but useful and the exams are not too hard, just 3 midterms and a final that are all blue book short written responses to a few questions.

TLDR - it is a super easy A but very boring and a waste of time
