Overall, this is a very easy class and Mingyu is a very nice and accommodating professor. I took it because I needed an integration elective for BACS, and I would highly recommend it for that or just if you need an easy class to take.
However, I feel like I didn't learn much, and he often went into too much detail during lecture. He would go super in depth (unnecessarily) and a lot of the material kind of went right over my head.
The class is 20% quizzes (they were pretty easy and we were allowed to drop a few of them), 40% homework (mostly in python, allowed to drop 2), 10% midterm, 20% project, and 10% final exam. The homework was relatively easy and he grades them pretty leniently in my opinion, and the midterm and final exam were fair. The final project wasn't too bad either.
Overall, I would definitely recommend this class if you want a relatively easy class (especially if you need an integration elective).
