Great class to have an intro to anthropology. I am not an anthro major which made some things more difficult to understand because I did not have a background in it. I did well overall though get a B+ not as an anthro major. He is a great professor and is always looking to help students out. You have to participate in this class!! Even if you don't know what you are saying at least say something or ask questions as he will knock points off participation which will screw up your grade in the end. Also there are weekly assignments which are not terrible and he is a pretty easy grader on them and you go over all the questions in class. It is 5 super short answer and 5 multiple choice based off the readings. You do need to do the readings to know what people are talking about especially if you are not an anthro major!! The end presentation is not bad but it is in front of the whole class but I recommend having fun with it by picking a fun topic in anthro and doing a more creative powerpoint!
