Professor Livingood is very knowledgeable about the topic (Intelligence Analysis) but doesn't claim to know everything, which I appreciated. Very light workload as to be expected with a 1-credit course. The largest assignments were a few short-response papers (~1 page), an easy midterm that he gives you a study guide for, and a 3-5 page paper that he provides an outline for. It can take awhile to get grades back, but the assignments are pretty easy so there hasn't been any reason for that to cause any stress. Certain classes were a bit boring but the real-world examples he picked were interesting and demonstrated the concepts well. He is also a good advisor and will do his best to help you out or direct you to the people who can help you if you bring him specific questions.

Prof. Livingood's course on Intelligence Analysis was a great course! The work was very easy and straightforward, and Prof. Livingood was an easy grader. In class, this course could be boring at times, especially when we were going through PowerPoints, but I also attribute this to having half this class online and half in person. This is a great COLA to take and was an easy A!

Livingood is great and the course itself was extremely easy, but if you have any knowledge at all of the basic structure of the intelligence community it won't be very interesting. If you don't, I'm sure the course would be great.

This is a really interesting course on U. S. Intelligence. Professor Livingood has first hand experience in the field, so he has a lot of interesting stories. There are only a few projects and short papers, so the work is manageable. The requirements aren't always the clearest, but Professor Livingood tries to explain everything in class so written instructions don't always matter.
