Foutz's marketing component of Fall ICE was a highlight of the semester for me. She is extremely entertaining and engaging and the time spent in her lectures flew by. Unlike other ICE professors, she didn't assign unreasonable amounts of reading but I still felt like I learned a ton just from actually paying attention in class. I thought that the class was also fairly easy. There is a final that requires you to memorize a 20 page packet covering the concepts from the entire semester. While the test is a guaranteed A if you really know the packet inside and out, she penalizes harshly for getting the terms and answers even remotely wrong. She explains this, but some of my peers were blind-sided when they realized that they unfortunately did not know the packet verbatim.
