Review Summary Updated April 05, 2026

This class is widely considered an approachable workload where you will learn accounting concepts that heavily apply to everyday life. You will tackle a few group cases, straightforward homework assignments, and take-home exams, with the final sometimes being entirely optional. Earning at least a B+ is virtually guaranteed as long as you show up and participate daily, but you will need to take the graded case write-ups seriously to secure an A. The teaching style is fun, highly transparent about your standing, and deeply supportive, making it a low-stress but rewarding option for most students.

Professor Roberts is such a sweetheart and really just wants everyone to learn the concepts of the course. She's a little tough on grading the cases and takes participation very seriously so just put effort into the cases (there are only 3) and be sure to participate every day. Other than that, everyone usually gets a 100% on the homework, the midterm is take home, and the final is optional. She also taught me a lot about life! I enjoyed taking her class.

Roberts is great! There are 5 or 6 group cases that are graded like all Comm School projects. Hard to do great, have to be illiterate to get lower than a B+. Final is take home and not too hard.

Great prof. She explains things very well and keeps things interesting. There are group cases to do but it's not hard. She lets you know where you stand in the class, which most profs dont bother doing.
