I have very complicated feelings about this class. Professor Harris is a wonderful and brilliant person. She is approachable, humorous, talented, knowledgeable, and eloquent. I also know a lot of people enjoying our class and course content. I also enjoy talking with her/dropping by during her office hours.

(That being said, I don't enjoy this class that much, partially because I think we do not go deep enough into the materials/texts we read. I think it's too loose for a 3000-level philosophy seminar. I hoped that this class could be denser, more structured, more challenging, and more intellectually stimulating. But I think if you want to take your first or second philosophy class, or if you are super interested in what makes philosophy unique and what makes a distinction between natural science and philosophy, this would be a great class to take. )
