From my understanding, everyone in SPAN 2020 has the same assignments and quizzes, no matter who your professor is. Overall, this class is mostly busy work. There is a good amount of writing and group projects, but not overwhelming. A lot of assignments are just graded for completion. The quizzes were difficult sometimes, but all the quizzes combined only make up 10% of your grade. With some work, I was able to get an A+. Definitely recommend Professor Romero! She was very nice and understanding about our individual situations, and she typically responds to emails the next day. She doesn't speak too fast during class, so it is easy to understand her. I was initially worried that Prof Romero didn't have any reviews, but she turned out to be a great professor.
