She is hard to understand, although very nice and helpful if you approach her during office hours.

So far my favorite class at UVA! I enjoyed coming to ECON every day and Coppock made it a very fun topic to learn about. I felt like I learned a lot although it's only a principles course. Definitely take it!

Professor Coppock is great! He tells stories that really solidify what he is teaching. The midterms are pretty easy and the final is not that bad. I think people are just not used to having multiple choice econ tests and that is why they think the final is hard. I would definitely recommend taking this class with Coppock.

Lucy was an awesome T.A. who was willing to help and didn't give really hard quizzes or anything like that. The class definitely emphasizes lecture attendance; the book is a lot less necessary than it was in Elzinga's. Overall, really not that bad of a final exam. Study the slides, particularly from the most recent section.

Anyone who plans on majoring in econ should make sure to take this course with Coppock. he's always excited about class and it really is common sense material, so as long as you have a good head on your neck you can pass this class without attending lectures or reading (not recommended however).
