Great class. Really learned a lot from that class. Much more enjoyable than Elzinga's 201

Generally the class was really enjoyable. You really get to know a lot about the world. Essentially, you should just: listen in class (take notes), go through every material that your TA gives you and you'll be fine. Final exam was a little harder, but nothing you cannnot handle if you have had enough practice with the materials given by the TA

Stephanie was a capable T.A. who made it enjoyable to come to discussion session on Fridays. She explained concepts clearly and helped her students review materials learned in lectures by her explanations and occasional quizzes. Also, her grading was fair.

great class, first two midterms are pretty easy but the final is much more difficult

Best class I've taken at UVA. Coppock is funny, class is interesting, exams aren't too bad. I got an A and never did the reading. Sarah Barber is amazing.

great class. i didn't really care for the subject matter but coppock made up for it! great professor, one of the best i've had. the final isn't easy but its doable.

Awesome class, as an engineer it was a pretty easy and useful way to knock out some HSS

Great Class! Tests are based on lecture, Coppock is very entertaining in class. Reading the book not necessasry if you can follow what he's saying in class

Get a T.A. that speaks english/is reasonable

An excellent lecturer. I would return to his lectures not even taking his class just to see what he has to say about the current state of the economy. A difficult final but do not let that sway you. This is one of the best classes you will take at UVA.
