This class is relatively easy and definitely helpful/applicable to life in general. The midterm and final are important but as long as you read the textbook, Buddha’s Brain, and watch the videos that we watch in class, the exams are simple. The lectures are somewhat boring as we go over pretty much the same information that is covered in the textbook. However, the class is easy and if you make an effort in your personal project and happiness project, I think both can be really helpful for life.

This class is pretty easy with a minimal amount of work. The grading is a midterm, a final, and 2 projects. The projects are super open-ended. There is a lot of assigned reading but it really isn't necessary to read it if you just brush up on the summaries in the books before tests. The actual in-class time is pretty much just watching Ted talks and talking about life. It drags on (2.5 hour class) and can get kind of boring/repetitive but luckily its only once a week. I would recommend it if you need an easy class to fill up your schedule and don't want to do a lot of work
