Biggs is a hard prof. but he is not that bad as a person. As long as you are trying and are engaging in the material, you will be fine. Definitely review the 2800 geology stuff before coming in. His exams are difficult and the average is always around a 68 but he always curves.

be prepared to rely soley on notes. impossible to pass with out attending classes and field trips. there is no book, so you must be very vigilent in class
