Literature Review for Applied Curriculum & Instruction Research
Course Description
This course prepares Curriculum & Instruction Ed.D. students to conduct and write rigorous literature reviews for applied research. Students learn to analyze research methods, synthesize findings, develop a clear thesis, and construct a coherent argument. Emphasis is placed on concise, analytic writing aligned with doctoral expectations and milestone requirements. Students complete a draft preliminary exam as the final assignment.
