Water Quality Modeling: Ecosystems to Watersheds

Course Description

Study of the physical, chemical, and biological processes governing the transport and transformation of contaminants at ecosystem and watershed scales. Emphasis placed on the ecohydrological principles and role of human activities governing these processes. We will develop process-based models and analyze data to understand and predict watershed processes. Recommended: EVSC 3600, one year of calculus and one semester of programming, or equivalent experience.
