Quality and Safety in Healthcare Systems
Course Description
This course develops organizational & systems leadership capabilities for quality improvement in healthcare settings. Students examine conceptual approaches to advancing quality and safety, analyze outcome data related to these domains, & articulate evidence-based strategies for system-wide improvement. They also explore potential evaluation methods to assess the impact of proposed changes. Throughout the course, students explore various frameworks that influence organizational decision making.
