Course Description
This course prepares students for healthcare careers by building strong Spanish language skills & cultural awareness. The course is designed to develop both linguistic & cultural competence within the context of healthcare, & it focuses on real-world communication in medical settings & understanding differences between U.S. & Spanish¿speaking communities. The course also incorporates contemplative practices to support self¿care & compassion, helping future professionals learn to care for others.
