Wilson made lectures very enjoyable with slides and videos. He posted slides online but attending class was still necessary to get complete notes. Very enthusiatic about psychology. Study for the tests with textbook and lecture notes.

Easily the BEST class I've ever taken at UVA. It is so interesting, and what's best is the things you learn here is actually useful and applicable to real life! I'll remember some of the things here in many years to come in my interactions with other people.. Readings are very manageable, exams are pretty easy if you read the book and listen to the lectures. Take the discussion class if you can, since it will actually be useful to the main class in general, since you have more discussions on the things you learn in lecture than the people who don't take the discussion class... Also, there are many interesting experiments done in the discussion class. Jason Kisling is a pretty funny, nice, and friendly TA so I'd also recommend him.

Summary: TAKE PSYC260!!! You won't regret it.

Pretty fun class. Wilson keeps it interesting with music and video clips. Posts lecture slides online. Easy to study for the night before and get an A.

I took this class thinking it would be an easy A (that's what I had heard about it) and it wasn't at all (and I'm a psych major and I've gotten As in every psych class I've taken- including 306...soo...) It was a fun class, and I would definitely recommend it, but don't go into it thinking that it'll be a breeze because it's not.

It was definitely a fun and interesting class, but not as easy as I expected. I came out of every test thinking that I killed it, and wound up with a B- in the class... even after doing all of the reading. Anyway, Mr. Wilson is a great teacher and definitely makes his lectures interesting, so despite my low grade I would recommend this class!

The material is easy and the professor is nice, but the downside is that class averages are high, so don't depend on the curve. The textbook is actually enjoyable.

The lectures are interesting and straightforward with a lot of video and audio examples. The information may seem like common sense, but the exams are tricky because you have to differentiate between common sense and theories and concepts you learn in class. Exams are tricky, but the class is definitely worth it!

This class is not particularly difficult, and the subject matter is really interesting. As a first year I was told to avoid PSYC101 and take an upper level (2 or 300 level) course that sounds interesting to you. Taking PSYC260 was a great decision. A decent bit of writing, and about 30 pages of reading per week. Powerpoints are really interesting and class is extremely interactive. I would recommend this course.

I loved this class!!! All of the material was interesting, applicable to real life, and makes you look at things differently. Wilson's really nice, a great lecturer, and keeps things interesting and fun with video clips and real-life examples, and discussions were good too. He makes it easy for you to skip class but why would you want to? The tests were pretty easy and fair. I'd recommend this class to anyone.
