Professor Wilson was great. The class was really enjoyable. It's the TA's that made the course miserable. Their grading is horrible for the papers so watch out

Many people love this class, but I was not overly impressed. A few of the lessons were good, but a great deal of it was monotonous. Professor Wilson tries to make it interesting, but has a very boring voice.

Great class with material applicable to your life. Multiple choice and short papers can be tricky but an enjoyable, straightforward course nevertheless.

Very interesting course. The tests are a little harder than expected, but overall good course. I would definitely recommend with Professor Wilson.

Tim Wilson is such an enjoyable lecturer. The material is inherently interesting, and not very difficult to understand. Papers were tricky (the TAs look for very specific things and it's hard to do well unless you nail them all) but not unmanageable. And midterms were pretty easy as long as you kept up with the reading. Take this class!

This class is easily the best in the psychology department. The lectures reflect the book (since Wilson co-wrote it) and the exams, papers, and partner assignment are more than manageable. Wilson also likes to use videos in his lectures, so expect at least one clip from Candid Camera, Friends, or YouTube each class!

Professor Wilson is AWESOME. Loved every single one of his lectures! The tests are not tricky if you know the material...just make sure to go over your notes and the book. Also, if you get the student study guide version of the book, it helps a LOT.

This is a really fun class. The teacher is engaging, and the material is straightforward, interesting and relevant to our every day lives...As long as you go to lecture and read the book, you'll be fine. The TAs grade the papers pretty hard. At least for me, they just wrote a grade with hardly any feedback... and going to office hours to talk about it didn't clarify anything. but aside from that, overall it's a fun course, especially if you want to take a psych class and aren't a psych major!

If you only ever take one Psychology class, this is the perfect class to take. It's really relevant and makes you more aware of yourself and your interactions with other people. Lecture was a bit repetitive if you read (Wilson co-wrote the text) but videos and class demonstrations kept it interesting nonetheless. The non-traditional papers took some getting used to and the tests were not necessarily EASY, but pretty straight-forward.

Good class, as hard as you make it. Not bad at all if you go to class and read. Review the material, take advantage of review sessions and you can get an almost guaranteed A. Papers aren't hard or long considering the class is so large. The hardest part is fitting them in the small amount of pages allotted.
